Ithaca/Accudate 9700 touch screen not responding

This can happen if the screen loses its calibration. The timer machine has a pre-boot calibration mode that will allow you to calibrate the touch screen without entering any menus.

1. Turn off the machine with the switch
2. Place your finger in the middle of the screen and leave it there
3. Turn on the machine with your finger still on the screen
4. The screen will enter a calibration mode. 
5. Remove your finger and touch each point displayed on the screen
6. The timer will then boot up the rest of the way
