RFM Packages not applying
When RFM packages do not apply due to a device not performing Automatic Business Day Cutover, the store MUST first resolve the issue that prevented one or more devices from successfully performing ABC. Once resolved, the RFM package will apply the next day. If the store needs the package to apply today, follow the steps below for Go Forward Apply Update.
Overview
- This function should be used when the RFM package does not apply due to an ABC issue
- Go Forward Apply Update cannot be run After 22:00 local time
- System will give a message stating that Go Forward Apply Update cannot be run after the acceptable time of 22:00
- Go Forward Apply Update can only be run if the registers are open and all registers display [UPDT]
Resolution

- Before Starting the Go Forward and Apply Update Function, all registers must not be in use and all orders must be cleared from the KVS
- Verify that all nodes show [UPDT]
- Warning!: The Go Forward feature requires the store to be down for the same length of time it takes to apply an RFM package during open. The store could be down from 2-10 minutes.
- Click Manager > Support > Support
- Enter the daily support password
- Click Go Forward Apply Update
- The registers will now start the Apply Update process store wide
- If the register(s) does not automatically restart, manually restart all registers and WST VM to apply the updates
- If the package has been delivered to the BOS but not the WST VM, reboot the BOS and WST VM
