Reboot the BOS and retry the function
- Note: It is not necessary to wait longer than 10 seconds to power the Back Office Server (BOS back on when rebooting. The BOS will take approximately 7 - 13 minutes to reboot.
- The BOS server must be booted in one of the following manners
- Via the Start Menu screen
- On the Start Menu screen, click on the Restart button
- Via the sign out screen
- Press the Control, Alt and Delete keys at the same time. It will take you to the Sign out screen.
- Click on the Power icon to see your options
- Allow the BOS to reboot
- Log into Windows
- Retry the function
- Via the Start Menu screen
NewPOS: Perform Reboot ALL POS
- Touch the Manager Options key on the Manager Menu
- From the Manager Options Menu, touch the Reboot ALL POS key
- Touch the YES key to confirm the reboot of the POS
- If any registers do not reboot automatically, reboot the register
