Register/kiosk is not working, preventing automatic business day cutover (Instructions)
Perform a Remote Detach:
- From a different register, perform a remote detach for the register that is not working
- Press the Manager Menu key
- Press Support, then select Support again
- Enter the daily support password (If you do not know the daily support password, please contact your OTP2/Pro)
- Press the Remote Detach key
- A pop up screen will display listing all registers and highlighting the offline registers available to detach
- Select the proper register and press OK
- A message will display about the register successfully detaching
- Proceed with POS Close
